Department of Tourism
The official tourism site for the Cayman Islands serves international visitors across multiple regions. I implement a comprehensive GTM tagging layer covering conversion events, user behavior signals, and ad platform pixels against a custom data layer.
Tag Management
The work involves mapping the site's existing data layer to a structured tagging architecture, then building out triggers and variables for booking interactions, scroll depth, and engagement.
Consent Mode v2
I lead the site's migration to Google Consent Mode v2. The build sets region-aware consent defaults (opt-in for EEA/UK visitors, opt-out for North America) wired to the site's consent management platform, and each ad platform and analytics tag is gated to its required consent category. The migration includes a full audit of the container, retiring legacy tags with per-tag documentation and owner sign-off. I verified the build with a seven-test suite covering US regression, EU geo testing, and network-level inspection of the compiled container, then documented the expected measurement impacts for the client and media agencies before rollout.
MarTech & Email
Beyond tagging, I support the client on technology procurement, evaluating CRM platforms and loyalty program applications, and build custom-coded responsive email templates deployed in HubSpot.
SEO Reporting
Alongside ongoing GTM management, I handle SEO reporting for the Department's seasonal flights. For their summer campaigns I pull a custom report from Google Analytics and Search Console, covering keyword visibility, rankings, and organic search traffic, to measure how the campaigns move the needle on organic discovery.
